Valentine's Day with Jesus

Valentine's Day with Jesus

Jesus does not send perfume
To linger in the air
Instead He sends salvation, sweet
To show how much He cares.

He doesn’t bring me candy hearts
In boxes of delight
Instead He always lets me know
I’m precious in His sight.

He doesn’t pass out pretty cards
Trimmed in shades of red
Instead He gave His life for me
His precious blood was shed.

He doesn’t hand out fancy gifts
Like we would send to mother
Instead He sends a message clear
To always love each other.

He doesn’t give me teddy bears
That whimper, “Please be mine”
Instead He gave His heart to me
I wear it all the time.

He doesn’t give me roses, pink
For all the world to see
Instead He gave eternal life
That’s good enough for me.

Knowing the day

i have nothing left to say
and nothing left to learn
i've done my deed
placed my seed
got nothing left to plead

my dues are paid
my life conveyed
and love cant turn around
my sight is blurred
my life defferred
yet not one can be proud

the date when love and hate collide
is the day i shall fade in peace
and me and you can both run free
beyond the point of the sacred place
where all our greatest dreams will all be faced

now its time to go run wild
before that sacred day comes round
until that time of life and death
ill have you until my last breath

Time Tested Beauty Tips

For attractive lips,
Speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes,
Seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure,
Share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair,
Let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.

For poise,
Walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored,
renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed;
Never throw out anybody.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand,
you'll find one at the end of your arm.

As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands;
one for helping yourself,
the other for helping others.

So true

It’s funny, sad, yet all so true

How we hold on to things that only break us in two

It heartbreak, disappointing and painful

To realize that in the end, you’re the look

What did they do to get the love

To get peace through that white dove

I’m sick of being alone and rejected

I need someone to feel connected to

It’s funny, sad yet all so true

It’s funny, sad yet all so true

How the person that loves you more than life is you

Our tears manifest into rivers so deep

Our lives into heels so steep

It’s most probably part of life’s journeys

To feel as though your heart has a permanent injury

I’m sick of not belonging

I’m sick of wondering

What love is like when you’re on the other side receiving

It’s funny, sad yet also true

It’s funny, sad yet all so true

How they say that love will come to you

You wait for years for that moment

And live with a heart full of disappointments

I’ve never really known what its like

To have someone with you by your side

To say goodnight and hold you tight

Wile you fight the amazement overnight

English teacher

But teacher why?

You taught me everything about life,

but you never taught me

how it feels to fall in love,

No more poetry, no more orals,

right now I need to pass my love

Roses & Violets

Roses are blue
Violets are red
I got mixed up
cause I was thinking of you

Protect
God in heaven
God above
Please protect the one I love
send a hug sealed with a kiss;
I love the one I am praying for
